Dear Colleagues,
The 22nd TAFISA World Congress in Antalya, Turkey, will mark a turning point in the history of the international Sport for All Movement. Under the main theme “Sport for All: Building Bridges”, for the first time the Congress will reflect on the true global nature of Sport for All and go beyond traditional segmented aspects of Sport for All. The congress will:
- Address what Sport for All can contribute to cope with global political, cultural, economic, and social challenges the world is facing today and tomorrow,
- Document that Sport for All has the potential and power to unify, thus making the world a better place, and
- Serve as a platform to bridge the between the science and practice in Sport for All.
TAFISA is proud that Turkey, which forms the bridge between Europe and Asia, will host this unique Congress which marks the 20th anniversary of TAFISA, thanks to TAFISA’s strong member organisation and Congress host, the Turkish Sport for All Federation (TSFAF).
With invited speakers from global organisations including UN, UNESCO, ICSSPE and the IOC, many opportunities to network and interact, an enjoyable social and sports program and a delightful location and climate, TAFISA and the TSFAF are certain the Congress will be an event to remember.
Welcome to the 22nd TAFISA World Congress!
Dr. Kang-too Lee TAFISA President
Prof.Dr. Erdal ZORBA Congress President and TSFAF President
